Mission Center hit with Covid 19 in the first part of December We’ve had two seminars on Luzon Island where we live in December and January. The results were amazing considering the conditions we were dealing with because of the current China virus pandemic. Early in December we all were hit with Covid 19 symptoms here at the mission center. All of us were sick for about two weeks but recovered just in time for Christmas! Praise the Lord! We didn’t talk about it to anyone at the time because we didn’t know what could happen if we contacted a hospital here in the Philippines. We did not want a government intervention unless completely necessary. We just took vitamins, rested and quarantined ourselves. We all came through it with no adverse effects. We brought out the table and chairs we had in storage so we can have Thanksgiving in the mission center tomorrow. We had to wait for the weekend because it is not a holiday here. So Sunday is better to celebrate on because the workers are gone, the kids are out of school and friends we have coming have an easier time scheduling it in too. We found this table two years ago at a garage sale. It has two extra leaves so we can extend it for times like this! Happy Thanksgiving to our family and friends! This has been an eventful month. We are so near completion of the construction of our new Dunamis Mission Center here in Manila, Philippines! We are giving you a little preview of what the...

Construction Continues Despite Obstacles We are coming closer to the end of the construction of the new Dunamis International Mission Center here in Manila. Since the fire on February 17th, 2016 we have been in many calamities trying to build the center back. It took 14 months to get the insurance settlement so we could begin the construction. We can’t tell you in words how difficult getting your claim settled was here in the Philippines. The insurance company did everything possible to cut the amount that we had the property insured for. They lied to us from the very beginning sitting in their main office here. We were sitting there in clothes that had been given to us, they started by telling us that we were covered for things that later on they denied. Folks, when you have gone through such a tragedy and are in a state of pure vulnerability you believe that people would have the compassion to tell...
