They have been very creative and innovative to ensure the mandate of Great Commission is well complied. They formed the “Dunamis Band” that competes with other bands in different areas and has already been awarded “Champion” many times. This band travels anywhere upon request to conduct free musical concerts for evangelistic purposes. They have also tapped the doors of police stations in the region using the tool they learned in Dunamis Stealth Evangelism. And have conducted basketball clinics and sports activities integrated with the 357 Magnum soul winning technique. Our first pumpboat ride, although long, was fairly calm. But the return trip was to turn treacherous! 3 hour Pumpboat ride turns perilous for Dunamis Staff! This month we held a training seminar on Balut Island. It is a volcanic isle about eight miles from Mindanao, separated by the Sarangani Strait. Balut, Sarangani and Olanivan Islands make up the island group known as the Sarangani Islands. We first travelled from General Santos Airport for 5 hours land trip by bus after which a pumpboat ride of 3 hours to reach the training venue which is also 10 minutes uphill walk from the seashore. Since the waves in the night were very strong and it is risky to travel by night, our team had to stay the night in Big Margus then early morning we took a pumpboat to Balut island. However, in the night in Big Margus, there was a 5.8 magnitude earthquake that shook the place violently and created a fear...

  Taking Mindoro Island for Jesus! 1,147 Souls won in 3 days!   Roxas, in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines has a population of 53,201 people. Oriental & Oxidental Mindoro have a population of over 1,331,000 total for the island. We have two more seminars coming up in Mindoro in June. It’s our desire to light the fires of evangelism on this Island, because like most of the Islands they have been neglected for a long time. We discovered that they are purposely not teaching English in their schools which is an effort to land lock the young people to the Island because of the lack of language skills. God has a calling on all the Philippines to be the launching pad for missions to all the world so hopefully through the spreading of the Gospel they will have a change of heart after we take this Island for Jesus.
