Dunamis Mission Center rises out of the Ashes!!
YEEEHAAA! Praise The Lord!!! After 27 months waiting and wading through the miles of red tape, we finally have our building permit in hand! Construction has officially begun on the new mission center. It’s hard to believe it has been over two years since the fire. We never imagined as we were running out of the house that morning that it would be so long before we could return to live here.
Upon excavating the former foundation that we were planning on building the new center on, it’s to our disappointment that we found that we can’t use the old columns nor the tie beams for the old structure. They were just too damaged from the fire and demolition of the old structure. This means that we are looking at an additional $10,000to $15,000 (which I wouldn’t bank on the lower...
