Manila Pastors Astounded by the Stealth Program

This class (batch 20) was mostly Southern Baptist, a few Bible churches, and small number of Pentecostals, it was a good mix. Fourteen in all, they really worked well together.

During one of the two hour practicums Pastora Hermie Volante, a lady pastor from Tonda, Manila, had the idea of going to one of the schools in the area. It was already 4:00 and school was almost finished for the day, but the teachers allowed her to share in three of the classrooms that first day. All the students accepted the Lord as she shared the gospel with them. She won 80 to the Lord that afternoon. She went on to lead her Stealth Evangelism class in salvations during the 3 days by winning a total of 319 souls during the 4 practicums they went out on. She has also been using this soul winning method in her daily encounters with people.

It is election time here in the Philippines and she just recently had the opportunity of mingling with some of the politicians at one of the rallies held in Tondo.  She approached two aspiring candidates for the seat of Congressman and presented the gospel to them using the Stealth method. They were both born again at there at the rally. Yeah!! That’s what needs to happen in the US at our rallies! Amen? She expressed how thankful she was that she was able to  attend  the training at Dunamis. The pastors were absolutely overwhelmed by the effectiveness of the soul winning tools that they acquired during the Stealth training. They were so excited to go back to their churches and begin training their members in the technique.  Batch 20 made 397 presentations of the Gospel and won 1,246 souls to the Lord. They all felt they had experienced a real transformation and left here with a new mind set for evangelism and discipleship.

OH My,My,My,My,My!!!!!

That’s about all I could say as I saw the results unfold for one of our training classes from March 16-19 otherwise known as Batch 21. This was a special group of pastors that just blew us away! First of all, I had set a small class of 10 for that week because we had some pastors come in to stay with us from several different islands, so we only had room for a small class. Then, six of the ten had to cancel because of funeral that came up. When the remaining 4 arrived I thought about canceling, but the Lord told me to go ahead with the training.

Well to my astonishment those four pastors set records with us! They made a total of 123 presentations of the gospel and won 2,667 souls to the Lord. They won them in the hospital wards in groups and went to a school and got permission from the principal to go from classroom to classroom. One of them won 1,396 to the Lord and another 803 and another 397 all of which broke the records set prior to that in all the 7 years of training here at Dunamis. This is what can happen when the body of Christ goes out witnessing, believing that they can do it. With this kind of action we could take the world my friends!  All four of these pastors were blown away by their own results and are committed to training soul winners in their own churches and other churches in their areas.

I can tell you this my friends, as amazing as these stories are, they are the norm around here. Every class has a uniqueness and each one seems to go deeper into what God’s business of winning souls is about. They dare to believe. Will you dare to believe with us?

1,900 Pastors Waiting on Training in Davao City on Mindanao, Island

I spent three days in Davao in March where I spoke at a Pastor’s conference. It is a city of approximately 2 million people. One of the pastors there was the City’s head Chaplain over 1,900 Pastors. I also met some other pastors that were heads of different groups there in Davao. They all want to bring the Stealth Evangelism Training to Davao and take their City for the Lord. It is only waiting on the funding to make it happen. They have agreed to provide us with a venue for the training and will organize all the pastors for us. It will be up to us to bring the staff and materials for the training, plus they’ll have to find sponsors for the food, accommodations, etc. Big opportunity awaits and I heard the Lord say, “We’re going to do it!” So it’s coming! Amen? It’s His work and He’ll supply the need, Amen? We stay ready to go, when His provision arrives.

Put it all together and we can win the world my friends. Remember this, we can’t out give God. He says by the measure we use, it will be measured back to us. Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
Because of several expenses over the last 3 months we are running in arrears about $7,500. Taking care of that would really help get things straightened out around here if a number of our partners could help with an extra gift to help clear this deficit.
