Miracle on Recto Street
A permanent thorn in the devil’s side!
On March 30th, 2008 the Lord spoke to me and said some very simple words, yet they were a directive that would change our lives and usher in a new wave of ministry. I can’t imagine what things would be like had He not said to me, “Go buy a house!” I know that sounds a little simple doesn’t it? Yet, God has a way of putting things simple yet they are extremely profound.
To give you a little idea of what I’m talking about I will clue you in to the conditions that surrounded that simple command from our Lord. First of all, we were tied to a 5 year lease that had one more year left on it. 2nd I didn’t have two pesos or that is, a nickel to my name. 3rd the annual rent of $18,000 was due in 30 days from that time. 4th, Americans can’t own real estate property in the Philippines. 5th, banks won’t even approve credit cards for American’s that are not backed by cash. 6th, you need 20% down payment minimum to buy a house here. 7th, with nothing down and rent due, what do you think my chances of purchasing a house in the natural realm was. I will put it this way. I called 8 or so realtors to show me property and they were all excited until they asked me how much money did I have to put down. I remember very distinctly saying to each one as they would come to that question. “I don’t have any money, but the Lord said! After that there was always a silent time then a response of “We will call you back!”
Guess how many of those Realtors called me back? That’s right! None of them! People here are always excited to have an American to wait on and sell something to, because we are all rich in their minds. Yet, when I told them that I had no money and that God said! They just couldn’t wrap around that. Couldn’t blame them though. I sold real estate for almost 30 years in the states and only one time did I run across a similar deal where the Lord said and I didn’t acknowledge the person’s vision myself until the Lord just told me to look for what she had described. Which in my mind was absolutely impossible and I thought she was a bit touched! Sure enough, the same day that I searched, I found the very place God had hidden back for her. It blew my mind to this day.
We have to remember God’s ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, Amen?
God’s Prophecy fulfilled in the Philippines!
After calling around trying to find a realtor to help me, the Lord provided two ladies from a pastor’s church we knew that started showing us houses based on what the Lord had said. After seeing 18 houses, the very last one was it. This Mission Center was prophesied over Calli and I, 10 years before in December 1998 by Janice Mixon a prophet from Waco, Texas “Property, property, I see property, building, a building is going to be released. And I see some property on foreign soil that are going to be resurrected in the very name of the working of your ministry.”
Through a series of miracles that continues to this day we ended up buying this beautiful Mission Center here in Manila and closed on the deal July 31st, 2008. When I say a series of miracles, there are too many to list, but I will say this. The bank that loaned the money gave us the lowest interest rate loan on their books. The payments on the property have been much lower than rent for such a place, and we are now in the position to pay the Mortgage off this year. We currently only owe $69,803 on the mortgage against this property. Then we as a ministry will be dept free with a asset valued at more than $1,000,000. Plus all the furnishings of more than 10,000 sq. ft of mission center is fully paid for and all our vehicles are all paid for. Praise the Lord!
This mission center is used to house missionaries that come to the Philippines for short term missions, all our local seminars are done here, where the pastors stay here for free and take our Stealth Evangelism Program, we have a variety of churches that use the facility to house people from other parts of the Islands that come here to attend their conferences, it is also Calli and I’s home where we have a bedroom, living area, and office in our upstairs apartment. This place can hold up to 50 guests in a night, that’s with a lot of extra mattresses that we can scatter around. We have foreign pastors come and train here every year. It is like a bus station around here, but we love it and God prepared us for this life style.
Permanent presence in Asia 10/40 Window
Please help us pay this center off in the next 3 months so that the funds that we receive can all be used to bring the Stealth Evangelism Program to every Island in the Philippines and then across the world when we release the new Stealth Evangelism Video Training Program in the next few months.
When the center is paid for we will be secure from anything that happens economically across the world. Dunamis International will have a permanent base in the 10/40 Window to reach millions or even billions of people in the coming years. Long after we are gone Dunamis will continue on with God’s mandate of making disciples of all the nations, Amen? Please be a part of the final thrust to pay off this precious Mission Center that only God could have put here! It’s time! I praise the Lord for the privilege of being able to attend this wonderful seminar on Stealth Evangelism of which I consider it to be very timely in this end time season of the final harvest in these last days.
I am encouraged so much to go to the field and reap a harvest of which the church is lacking today. I have pastored a church on our island for 27 years and I feel that we in our church need this so much for a breakthrough so we can fulfill God’s mandate of evangelism.
I discovered many things in this unique seminar concerning a powerful method of evangelism which is simple and effective in our time. I praise the Lord for using Pastor Tony Poole to share his vision and passion to win souls for God’s Kingdom. I am so happy and blessed in this wonderful seminar. I give all the glory to God! Amen!
Pastor Al Regis witnessing to lady last month in Siargao
Thanks to all those that sent money for Pastor Al. He had a stroke shortly after returning from Surigao last month. We are so blessed to tell you that the doctors allowed Al to go home from the hospital after about two weeks. He is currently recuperating here at the mission center. In two months they will do another MRI on him to consider the next step in his recovery. They did discover two small tumors on the front and rear of his brain and are treating them with medication. We believe God when He says He will heal ALL our deceases, so please stand in agreement with us that God will disintegrate those tumors and Al will take a full healing from the Lord, Amen?
God is using him mightily in this ministry and he really wants to come back asap. Love you all for all you prayers and help.
