“The Great Equalizer!”

The other day as Pastor Tony and I were visiting about the Lord, a verse came to my spirit and we were meditating on it. Phil.2:15, “…Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.(NLT)” The Lord’s heart is for us to shine and share His truth in His love. We are called to share Jesus! All of a sudden, I heard this phrase in my spirit: “The Great Equalizer!”

The picture I saw in my spirit was of a huge warrior about to fight in hand to hand combat with a small teenage girl. It would not be much of a match. But, what if she had a 357 Magnum, an extremely powerful handgun? Before he got to her, she would blow him away! I later as I was online and I found an old saying, “God made men, but Sam Colt made them equal.” It is talking about how guns help protect the physically weak. I knew the Lord was speaking to me about sharing Jesus. God has given us different talents and abilities, and some are more gifted in speaking. However, the words of Jesus are always powerful no matter how eloquent the speaker is.

We here at Dunamis call the verses in Stealth Evangelism the “357 Magnum”. We share John 3:3,5,7 and people are getting born again by the thousands each and every month! Yes, I said, “each and every month!” Someone doesn’t have to be an extraordinary superhero in the faith before they share Jesus. They just need an extraordinary weapon! Again and again, we’re seeing those people with quiet demeanors winning more souls than those who have much more outgoing personalities who seem to interact better with people.

If you haven’t taken the Stealth Evangelism course, I encourage you to be trained in this three day course. I’m confident it is an “equalizer” for those lacking in confidence to be able to share Christ like the bold soul winners God has called us all to be. Jesus called us to be witnesses. “Grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word” Acts 4:29

“I could have bought 10 more people”

Recently I watched the 1993 film Schindler’s0 List. It’s the story of an unscrupulous & immoral German business man that made a fortune during World War II, only to spend it all by the end of the war saving the lives of as many Jews as he could, including the ones that had worked in his factories. At the end he was basically penniless. He was getting ready to flee because he was a German and would be a wanted man. He was surrounded by his workers who owed him their lives. Yet he was overcome with grief thinking he should have done more. He looked at his car and said, “Why did I keep this car, it would have bought ten more people? Or this SS lapel pin, it’s gold, I could have saved two more!” He cried vehemently as the workers gathered around and tried to comfort him.

My heart burst and I wept with compassion for what he felt. This was all for people’s physical lives, which are gone in so short a time, no matter how long we live. Shouldn’t we be even more passionate about people’s eternal souls? I cannot even imagine what he felt as he was so distraught over not using everything he had to purchase more people. I ask myself right now, “Am I using everything that I can to reach more souls?” Should we consider using more of what we have to make sure that the gospel is propagated throughout the world?

Friends, we are in need of more monthly partners, so that we’ll have the provision to go and spread the good news into every crack and crevasse. I hurt in my heart every month that we can’t go to this island or that one to train the pastors so they can reach the population of their island with the gospel. Please help us! Today is the day of salvation for someone. If you don’t need it, sell it and sow it! The only thing you can take with you to heaven is the souls of men. Praise God! Mt 6:20 “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Let’s fill heaven with as much treasure of men’s souls as we possibly can in our short lifetime!

Pastor Gabriel was extremely nervous about one on one evangelism. Like Calli said in last month’s issue of the newsletter, she was afraid because of fear of rejection, yet when she made her first presentation to a lady on the practicum, holy boldness came over her. After Pastor Gabriel made his first presentation the nervousness left and a holy boldness took over. The pictures below show him everywhere, and there were more pictures than this. We praise God that we see transformations like this in every class!

Tremendous testimonies from Dunamis alumni pastors received only yesterday!

We just had a group of pastors, graduates from former classes, come over to the Mission Center yesterday. These are three of the testimonies they shared with us. Please take time to listen to their short reports on what has transpired since their training with Dunamis. They have each gone back to their own church and trained groups of reapers and have each seen significant increases in their ministry from taking the Stealth Evangelism Program.

Pastora Marilyn Palalon: Holy Spirit Christian Church went from 40 members to 1,724 in one and a half years. Their cell groups increased from 4 to 40. They also planted 3 new churches strategically in their area of Cavite. They originally won 5,899 people to the Lord during their training and the soul winning keeps on going!
Pastor Agustin took the Stealth course last year. His senior pastor at the time then turned over the struggling church of only 7 members to him. He began by training them and now today there are over 200 in his congregation.
Pastor Julz Ronquillo of Word of Hope in Pasay trained 29 reapers in their church. From that training they have added in their church 218 new members and started 52 cell groups. They also planted another church in the same area.

Wow! What happened to Calli!

Free at last!

Many of you know me. You know that I have always been more of the quiet type. I preferred to let Tony do most of the talking, figuring that was his gift not mine. So for many years I have been busy behind the scenes, working in the office doing various tasks. I assisted in the development of the curriculum, editing it, compiling it into the booklets that we have published. Helping take care of the classes in the background, anything to lend a hand as long as I didn’t have to go out myself and speak to ‘strangers’ on the street. That was too SCARY! I was completely gripped by fear. Was it fear of man? Fear of failure? Fear of…whatever…who knows, I just knew it was fear. It was very evident in my life, because all you had to do was merely suggest that I go out to witness, and my knees would shake and my eyes would well up with tears! Then my only priority would become looking for and quickly locating the nearest exit in which to FLEE!

“I knew this would work… giving me the words to say”

For years I have felt the Lord asking me to take the training myself. I would witness transformation after transformation as people would come and learn to use Stealth Evangelism. I watched them become dynamic soul winners for the first time in their lives, and I could see the unfettered joy on their faces. As each class passed I would always manage to find something in the way, some ‘excuse’ to postpone it until the next session. As each chance slipped by I felt increasingly convicted by God, and at the same time more condemned by the enemy. I was also afraid of disrupting the class, perhaps hindering their progress with my presence. I would imagine the people thinking “Why has it taken so long for Tony’s wife to take the class?” All the while, I was aware of how much I needed this same transformation in my own life. I knew this technique would work the same way for me, as it had for so many others, giving me the words to say in the hour I needed to say them. I would be able to speak Jesus’ words to the people all around me, to every person He chose to bring across my path.

God is so good! He set up a class just for me! He brought a lady over from California to stay with us in our Mission Center, and while she was here she heard about Stealth Evangelism and wanted to take the class herself. Now, her stay with us fell in between our scheduled classes, so Pastor Steve Hill taught a special class just for the two of us. As we took the class together, I learned the presentation quickly. That didn’t come as a surprise, considering how much I had read and reread the curriculum over the years. I had it almost memorized but it still took going completely through the class, with all the workshops and practicums to really get it ‘firmly’ planted down in me. I had never been worried about the classroom part; it was the going out on the practicums that was giving me the problem!

“Lord, please exchange my timidity for Your boldness!”

When we left the mission center in the van, the pressure was on. The closer we got to the place where we were going to witness, the more quiet and subdued I became. I even began to cry, for the fear was quickly welling up within me. I kept praying, “Lord, please exchange my timidity for Your boldness!” “…grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word…” (Acts 4:29) Wow, did He ever come through! We approached the first lady we saw, who was tending a small outdoor eatery along the street. Although she was pleasant and receptive, I still thought my knees would give way at any minute. I resisted the urge to dive under one of her tables to hide and kept on track, leaning on the Stealth Evangelism dialogue I had learned in class. Soon, despite all my previous tension, she was praying with me and I welcomed my new sister into the family of God!

Once I got started, it didn’t even matter if they said no at first, the Lord was faithful and always gave me the words to say and many would change their minds and receive Him. It was so awesome to see the countenances on their faces change, going from hard, stern, sometimes fearful and wary, to such joy and peace. Not once did I ever feel personally rejected, the few that refused were not rejecting me, they were rejecting Jesus. Even though my heart ached for them, I would just pray for them and move on, knowing that His word will not return void. The seed had been planted and He is faithful to tend it as it grows in them. The refusals were only a very small minority, because as I stayed on track with the dialogue I had learned, most were eager to receive the Lord. I got kind of self-confident at one point and begun to veer off of the presentation, it wasn’t long before I found myself lost not knowing what to say next. The old fears threatened to return, but the Lord was faithful and got me back on track. Moments later I was praying with another new brother in the Lord!

The enemy has deceived us all for so long that we have begun to believe some of his lies without even realizing it. There are so many people out there that really desire to know our Lord (one of His names is the Desire of all nations), they are just waiting for you and me to come and tell them the Good News! Stealth Evangelism is the instrument you need in your life to give you the courage to reach out to those people around you that the enemy has convinced you that can’t be reached.

“Look..It’s a treasure chest on wheels!”

On a recent Sunday we were in the van on our way home. We passed by a jeepney full of passengers. The Lord quickened the verse in my heart Mt 6:20 “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” He said, “Look, Calli! It’s a treasure chest on wheels!” I will never look at crowded buses and jeepneys the same way again. These people are God’s treasures and He wants us to be about gathering them up to bring them with us to heaven. As you walk out into the world today, begin to see the people around you as the precious jewels they are to our Father. At the end of this age, as we stand before the Lord, don’t come before Him empty handed. Bring Him the treasure He loves, precious souls robbed from hell!

In the three practicums we went out on during that class, I prayed the sinner’s prayer with over 90 people on the streets! It was amazing! It had nothing to do with my ability. My 55 years of life have proven that. It was only with God’s strength using this extremely sharp sickle called Stealth Evangelism, containing the very words of Jesus, that this harvest was brought in. I know the Lord has only just begun this work in me and I still have a lot to learn about reaching people every day on the streets, but I can certainly say, along with the many others that have come through the doors of Dunamis that, “My life will never be the same!”

OFW learns Stealth Evangelism

Returning to Saudi Arabia to teach others!

When I was informed by my Senior Pastor that I will be one of those chosen to attend the Stealth Evangelism seminar at Dunamis International School of mission, I asked myself what will that seminar be and will I learn anything that will be applicable to my job as an OFW? (Overseas Filipino Worker) But on the other hand, I was excited about going to Dunamis.

On our first day in the center, I felt happy and excited. I felt that something good was going to happen and that God had something in store for me here. The thought of evangelizing and reaching the lost made the fire burn inside me and I was very excited to learn Stealth Evangelism. It was indeed an honor to be one of the students of Dunamis International School of Mission because the training was very different, it enhanced my knowledge about witnessing, made my heart burn with passion for souls…and everything I learned here will be a very important tool when I go back to Saudi Arabia. The technique is simple yet effective and I know that after finishing this course, my self confidence has increased and with the help of God I will never be the same again.

I thank God for the servants of God, Ptr. Tony, Ptr. Steve, Ptra Sonia and Sis Dore, who unselfishly gave their time in nurturing us and encouraged us to be warriors in the kingdom of God. As a student of Dunamis, I will teach and share what I have learned to our church and other churches in Saudi Arabia. All honor and glory belongs to Him!

I am very thankful to God that I was able to join the team and attend the Stealth Evangelism seminar. I have been to so many evangelism seminars but I guess this is the best, short but effective and you can easily use the method in your daily life. Had I known this method before, we might already have an overflow of our church membership, Praise God! It was a blessing to me to be here in Dunamis. He’s been running around with a broken took for more than a month and this means not just extracting the tooth but replacing the old partials, they are shot! Marooned in Manila no more!

For some time now we have basically been marooned in Manila, because our vans have gotten older and less dependable for traveling distances to do mobile ministry. We just came across this exceptional car (pictured above right) that was perfect for our mobile ministry. It will carry up to 10 passengers, or a staff of 6 with all our supplies and equipment for a mobile pastor seminar.

It is a 2003 Mitsubishi Adventure Sport Addition; loaded and in brand new condition with only 24,668 miles on it. It has front and rear air-con (needed in this climate when you are carrying large numbers of people). It was a seaman’s car that he only used a few times a year. It was too good to pass up. I’ve been praying for a car like that for some time now, because we didn’t have a good traveling vehicle. Wouldn’t you know, it was my favorite color also. God is so good!

Because of the urgency to acquire it while it was still available, a banker friend of ours loaned us the $8,000 for it. We really can’t afford payments on it, so we want to lift it up to you, our partners to pray about helping pay this off so that it can be the blessing God means it to be to this ministry. This car will enable us to take the Stealth Evangelism Program to pastors that can’t afford to travel here to take the training. The farther away they are from Manila the less money they have to work with. Most cannot afford to come here, so we need desperately to go to them and make this priceless training available to even the poorest of pastors in the islands.

Pastor Santonia has articulated what having a Stealth Evangelism Seminar in his church meant to his members that took the course that he taught after having been trained himself only weeks before in July. It’s an accounting that will captivate your imagination as you see the pictures that recorded both the class and the practicums with his members going out witnessing one on one and seeing 711 people come to the Lord in just two days of training and exercise. Stealing souls from the smoldering arms of hell

“Are you born again?”…”357 Magnum”…and a short prayer…these are the only weapons that the trainees have as they cross the threshold of the enemy’s realm. Weapons that are concealed at first but once revealed, they can steal hundreds and even thousands of souls from the smoldering arms of hell.

They were used to evangelism, they were used to winning souls, but what they were not used to is this very concise yet effective way of witnessing. That is what the “Stealth Evangelism” seminar has taught them and changed them into more effective and efficient leaders and reapers.

They have heard many things about Stealth Evangelism and how effective it is from us who had already attended the seminar. They were very blessed and inspired by our testimonies but not until they experienced it themselves. They realized that it’s not that easy, the workshop was really wearing; they have to repeat every part many times. They felt that their energy failed them but on the other hand, they were happy because they were learning a lot, and very excited to practice it for real. After the lecture, they received the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

It’s already three in the afternoon, and the time came when they were going to share what they’ve been practicing a hundred times. They were grouped into two; they were instructed where to go, but still, they can’t seem to move… they were too nervous! What transpired next was the best thing that they did; they prayed and asked for the covering of the most precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Their first try was the hardest, but after that, everything went smoothly as planned. As expected, everyone has a different experience to share and to cherish. They met different types of people with various attitudes and beliefs. One of them was invited to enter the unbeliever’s house, stayed there for a while, and after chatting and her accepting Jesus into her heart, she even asked for a Bible study to be conducted in their house together with her family members. (See her in picture above.) There were also many instances that after praying, the newly-evangelized believer burst into tears. There are some instances that after prayer of acceptance, the recipient would request a prayer for their needs like healing, blessing in the family, jobs, and some even asked for counsel or advice for some family problems; others texted that there are already answers to their prayer requests. Not at all times were they warmly welcomed, there were also times when they were rejected, persecuted, and taken for granted. But they know that the enemy is trying to prevent them from going out. But the most important thing is, they were able to win 711 souls in just two days which we really thank God for. Since then the trainees continue to share whenever there is an opportunity and people are getting saved.

Last Sunday, September 4, 2011, there were new people who came to our church. (One of them is pictured above.) There are still others who have expressed their desire to come while others are looking for the opportunity.

After all, 711 souls is not a period but a comma, there are still more souls to win, more friends to have and more lives to surrender to God and His Son Jesus Christ. As Dunamis’ goal goes, “Win the Philippines, Win the World!”

Blessings from Manila! Our family has been here for two months now, and we’re so grateful to Jesus! We want to thank you for your prayers and financial support for Dunamis International School of Missions. Without your help, there might not have been a door open for us to come here. Only the Lord knows! So, thank you!!!

Until I heard from the Lord in the spring of 2010 to come help Pastor Tony, we didn’t know we were going to be missionaries. When we heard the call from the Lord to move to the other side of the world, we were surprised! Now that we’re here, we see how the Lord was preparing us over the years. We even helped support Dunamis International for years since Tony and Calli first moved over here to begin this work God had ordained for them to do.

I’m convinced the Lord wants me to encourage you about doors He has for you! Let me remind you that your heavenly Father has good plans for you! As in Jer.29:11, “…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jesus is our Hope and our Future! That’s good news!

The Lord just brought this verse to me today, and I believe it is for you, too. Prov.18:6 “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.(KJV)” Whether thru prayers or financial support, those gifts were opening doors for our future use! Hallelujah! Our motivation in giving has been that He gave all for us. As I used to sing in church growing up: “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe, sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow!” I appreciate the NIV translation of Prov.18:6, “A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.(NIV)” Jesus is the WAY, and he makes a way for us. He uses our gifts to do so, too! Whether the Pooles, the pastors, rich or poor here in the Philippines, the Lord has brought us before multitudes of great people!

You are also great! [Please receive this as from the Lord: you are great, My child! My anointing in you remains!(I John 2:27) My Holy Spirit never leaves you! (John 14:16) You are fully-equipped to advance My kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven! Breathe in the atmosphere of heaven, yes, breathe it in as much as you desire, for the kingdom of God is within you! You are My ambassador right where you are, and I will work all things for good for You! I WILL RESTORE!!! You can trust me, My child.]

The Lord is opening doors for you, and I want to encourage you to faithfully call them forth! Your prayers and gifts are deeply appreciated. Please know they are opening doors for you! Be strengthened with a passage the Lord so moved in my heart a few years ago. It’s Rev.3:7-8 “…These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut…” We here at Dunamis bless you in the mighty name of Jesus, and we call forth the prophetic destinies the Lord has for you!

38 Pastors Trained in August

During the last 2 classes we trained pastors from Laguna, San Pablo, Pasig, Calamba, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Los Banos, Bay City, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite. They won 2119 people to the Lord. Isn’t that a praise the Lord? Plus they are all going back to their cities to train reapers to bring revival to their churches. Here are a couple of testimonies from those classes.

Great treasures….in this training!

I just want to thank the Lord! When I attended Dunamis Evangelism Program it created more excitement in my heart. With the “Stealth Evangelism” I found a simple and yet powerful and effective tool for bringing souls to the Lord. During the first practicum I was quite nervous because I’m not used to one on one evangelism. I do evangelism through crusades and mass evangelism. But on the second day of the practicum I felt a deep compassion for the lost, that’s why I had boldness in sharing the “357 magnum”. Especially when I encountered two young boys whom I shared and I saw in their eyes the seriousness while listening to my presentation. A twist on “Left Behind”!

A few years ago I ran across a story about eight Bible school students from England in the 1800′s. They had all studied four years preparing to go into the mission field and graduation had finally come. All were excited and ready to go find their destiny with God. When they started applying for support at the different mission organizations and with their churches they found that there was no support available for them at that time. They all prayed and made a decision to draw lots. Half of them would go abroad and the other four would be “left behind” to take jobs and send support to the ones that were going. At that time when a missionary went abroad it was often customary to take your casket with you, because you’d probably never return.

Can you imagine the hearts of those that stayed behind and put their dreams and hopes of ministry in the hands of those that went into the mission field? Who do you think made the greater sacrifice to the Lord? Was it the missionaries who were able to go and fulfill their dreams of serving the Lord in the mission field? Or was it those that prepared their whole lives to go, yet they stayed behind and took jobs and sent the support so that the others could go? They laid down their lives for their friends that went. Greater love hath no man that to lay down his life for a friend. These precious men and women laid down their dreams to make sure that the Gospel went to the unreached nations through their fellow missionaries.

Many have dreamed of being a missionary for the Lord in the mission field. Those that were “left behind” were just as called to the mission field as those that went. Their job turned out to be the financial legs of the other missionaries. For me and Calli, we believe that both those that sow and those that reap shall rejoice together in the salvation of the lost. Jn4:36NKJV, “that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.”

I want you to know that every time I share this story my heart hurts, to think of the sacrifice that they made to make sure that the Good News went out. I feel so humbled by their gesture of love. I also know that many of you that are sowing into this ministry here in the Philippines are our life partners in ministry. With all our hearts we thank you for making it possible for us to be here.

Changes in my mind set

When I was invited by our senior pastor to attend the 3-day training on Stealth Evangelism, I was hesitant because it has been my belief that evangelism is not my gifting. But because I had learned submission, I confirmed my attendance. As a result of my attendance in this seminar at Dunamis, I experienced several paradigm shifts or changes in my mind set.

1. The Great Commission is not only for evangelist, it is for all, including me!

2. I can overcome my fear of rejection by taking the companion of Christ. It is not me that they reject, it is Christ.

3. The reason that my church members do not evangelize is that, because as pastor, I do not show them how. It’s my responsibility to train them and bring them to their fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God.

4. Although we have existing evangelistic witnessing method it seems not working. I learned from the seminar that the only difference between a sower and a reaper is the sickle. It must be sharp and easy to pick up and use.

Because of this experience, I have decided to implement this Stealth Evangelism Program in our church, by training at least 10 committed leaders and church members. I have also committed to partner with Dunamis in sharing and supporting financially its programs as we prosper financially as a result of our church growing. I praise the Lord I’m part of the Dunamis alumni.

Truly changed my life forever

I want to thank Pastor Tony Poole for inviting me to come and train in this very simple, yet very effective method of evangelism. The workshop on the step by step training in this method is very important in the mastery of this evangelism presentation. One of my favorite parts of the seminar was the practicum, where we are required to present the gospel at least 21 times during 3 practicum exercises. This was very challenging. It revived my passion to win souls for the Lord, and put an authority in me to tell my members to evangelize.

I can say that this seminar truly changed my life forever! While I was in the field during one of the practicums, God gave me a vision of multiplication for our churches. I was seeing in my spirit our churches’ members saturating our towns with the Gospel and bringing Harvest to our cell groups and churches. Glory to God!!! We are going to partner with Ptr. Tony in training and teaching pastors across the Philippines in this powerful soul winning technique.

answer to my prayers!

First, I want to thank God because I was privileged to attend this very, very important seminar. I believe this is an answer to our prayers. I was really looking for a way wherein I can encourage all our members to do evangelism. That is why when Bishop Hermie told me about this, I did not hesitate to say yes.

Indeed, Stealth Evangelism is God’s answer for us through the simplicity of its approach I firmly believe that it can be learned easily by ordinary members in the church, yet it will bring great results. I believe it with all my heart and I can sense in my spirit that there will be a great end time harvest. . .and because of this, the church of Christ should be prepared for this phenomenal event. I am greatly challenged with this evangelism style. My passion for souls is ignited, I can feel the fire in my heart. My desire to win souls and train others with this approach is burning hot. I am so excited to go home and apply this method and technique in my church. If all the pastors and leaders will learn this method and technique, we can easily win the Philippines for Christ.

Before the orientation for the seminar, I had the opportunity to read the manual, specifically the subject, “What is Stealth Evangelism”? My first impression was this tool or method is offensive in its approach. I was also thinking that because the author is an American, the style is most likely adapted from the western culture although the idea came up with the author’s encounter with a Filipina house help. This impression I had actually lessened my enthusiasm about the seminar.

After the orientation, I was still half hearted about the seminar. That night, my tooth ached terribly and my head was breaking and so I had a little sleep. I was actually thinking of going home in the morning with the other pastors who were set to leave to attend to some very important matters.

I thank the Lord because when I woke up Wednesday morning, my toothache was gone and even my headache and so I decided to go on with the seminar.

The first session we had with Pastor Tony cleared all my doubts and answered all my questions. The seminar became an interesting one for me and a big challenge at the same time. The days we spent in the seminar were really worth it. The sessions and the practicums were great because I learned a lot. It created in me a greater desire for evangelism and the excitement to immediately use it when I get home to our church was there.

I will impart this method of evangelism to our youth leaders and to other church leaders as well and even right now, I am looking forward to a great, great harvest of souls in our place and anywhere God will lead us.

Friday, which will be the last day of the seminar, I believe, will be another great day. Had I decided to leave on that Wednesday morning, it would have been a big, big regret for me. I thank God He sustained me and I was able to stay for the seminar.

A divine intervention!

Praise God!

I know this is God’s work. When I heard about Stealth Evangelism, I was not that interested. I said to myself I have enough knowledge and it’s the same old way……but something within me is saying, “You should come.” Thank god, I believe it was a divine intervention. Indeed it was….He gave me a new inspiration, renewed passion and better ways of doing evangelism in the most simplest and unique way.

I really enjoyed it. Before, I am easily discouraged when I got rejected. Through this seminar, God opened my eyes and understanding. I am too much concerned on the words of the Holy Spirit in other people and forget my own mandate from God to share the gospel and let them experience Christ. Yes, they can be born again and at the same time religious.

I praise God He changed me! He has given me more faith and changed the way I look at things. FAITH –even though there is no tangible result on the person I shared to, I have faith that God saved him/her. CHANGED OF MIND – I no longer have fear of rejection. In fact, my only objective is simple and let them know about the wonderful work of Jesus Christ by being BORN AGAIN !

One of our staff had a medical emergency this last month. She required a full hysterectomy. We notified some of you that knew her from your mission trips to the Philippines of her need, and the Lord came through as always! Thank you for standing with her in prayers and support. She is a vital part of the staff here. She is such a blessing to all the pastors that attend the training each week. She’s healing up wonderfully and will be back at her post in a short time! Church Members win 1,542 souls in 3 weeks!

We conducted a Stealth Evangelism Class in our church, training 7 youth leaders and 7 ladies from the women’s ministry. Our senior pastor was astounded by the results of the training in our church. We have started new cell groups, a text brigade, and a visitation force to follow up all the new believers. Most of the souls ironically came from implementing an assignment of 2 presentations per week by each of the reapers that we trained. They were so zealous that most of them did more presentations than was assigned. Our reapers are averaging more than 2 souls for every presentation of the gospel which is the Dunamis Standard. The results are astonishing and causing our pastor and staff to rethink our target goals for next year. Dunamis has truly come forth in this time with a real breakthrough in evangelism and strategies for making churches grow. The Hill’s Arrive at Dunamis!

Pastor Steve & Jill Hill along with their seven sons arrived in Manila on the morning of June 30th to begin their adventure with the Lord on the front lines of the mission field. What a place to raise those awesome young boys. We were so happy to receive the Hills here to help us with what God is doing through the Stealth Evangelism Program in this nation, as well as many other nations in the future.

We have seen the Lord move in so many ways getting them here and even after they arrived. They found a great house only four blocks away from the mission center the very day they arrived which was a miracle in itself. We are witnessing daily God’s hand upon them as they have stepped out in faith to serve Him here at Dunamis. Many of you already know & love them and we ask you to pray for them as you do us.

This was our class last week, July 5-8. (Above) The pastors were praying just before they went out soul winning on one of their practicums. At the bottom of this newsletter is a group of photos from the practicums that they did, I believe they will touch you. They do me every time we have a class. I’m always taken back by the photos of these men and women of God as they reach out to the lost. This batch of pastors won 1,209 souls to the Lord in about 9 hours of witnessing. Here are some of the testimonies of these pastors..

From the start of the training I believed for miracles!

Praise be unto God! Years and years ago, I’m so eager in witnessing wherever I go, in the parking lots, waiting areas, Jeepneys, buses, etc. I had a great burning desire to win souls everyday. Many years passed, and my eagerness became lesser and lesser, and I don’t win as many souls compared to before. Then I heard that our school, Bible League Church Planting Institute, had signed us up to take the Stealth Evangelism Program at Dunamis. I was so excited and with an expectant heart that God will do a miracle and something great will happen, we arrived at the school, what a beautiful ambiance and it ignited my spirit to be there.

From the start of the training I believed for miracles, that the Lord God will prove that He is mighty and true. Truly the power of the Holy Spirit manifested in every lecturer/facilatator anointed by God. The anointing flowed as Pastor Tony Poole shared on Stealth Evangelism.

We learned so much that empowered us to reach our full potential as we embrace the goal of Dunamis to make soul winning a way of life for all Christians. Implementing the Stealth Evangelism technique with great focus on each step was amazing how the words of Jesus was so powerful in the book of John to win the religeous.

Moreover on the practicum I was excited and ready. It was my great desire that I will be able to minister by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. As I used the 357 Magnum evangelism tool most of the hearers had a positive response. It was wonderful!

After this training, I am going back to my church with a great awakening, and I will embrace the Stealth Evangelism Program imparting the things which I’ve learned at Dunamis. Training our leaders and the body of Christ in these powerful soul winning techniques.

I came to the seminar expecting nothing more than the usual bonding of Leaders with another way of reaching people for the Kingdom of God. What have I learned instead? Stealth Evangelism is indeed another way…the best way to win souls for the Kingdom of God! The attitude, zeal, passion and skills of the teachers, most particularly that of its prime teacher (Pastor Tony Poole) is extremely contagious …astoundingly encouraging.

Great! Great! Great! The class is simply Great – touching the inner spirit with the efficiency of Stealth Evangelism in winning souls for Christ.

There will be no more forgotten people (people around us that no one has reached with the Gospel) in the Lord’s ministry in my area from this day on!

I declared to myself to become a Dunamis people…

The CPI class 166 in the Bible Leaque Church Planting Institute decided to attend a Dunamis Training for our pastors from different parts of the Island to enhance their evangelism skills on winning souls… The 19 church planters were excited to attend the training because of what they had heard about it. Praise God the seminar was timely, easy to learn and use, and very effective for winning souls to Jesus, very relevant for our pastors.

As a trainer, it ignited once again my passion for the lost while listening to Pastor Tony Poole… So I declared to myself to become a Dunamis people…

What God is doing in my life!

I thank God so much for using Dunamis International School of Missions to teach me this very unique technique for winning souls. I have attended a lot of seminars or trainings about evangelism, yes good, not bad techniques, but Stealth Evangelism is different – it’s simple, short, but very alive to bull’s eye the souls and win them.

Before I do evangelism in different techniques, because it is my passion to win souls, but now I can win souls more effectively using the 357 Magnum.

Now, thanks to God, He changed my methods in doing evangelism. Glory to God, I attended this seminar at Dunamis. In 3 days time I learned so much, a simple, short but very effective technique. Pastor Tony Poole was used by God to share with us Stealth Evangelism.

I praise God for this seminar, workshop, and practicum. Imagine in practicum in evangelism last July 7-8, 2011 , with the power of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom from the Word of God, using Stealth Evangelism technique, I was able to win 186 souls in 22 presentations. Wow, how beautiful, what God is doing in my life, He changed me and established me to be effective in witnessing using Stealth Evangelism.

It is what the church needs!

First of all, I praise and thank God for the great privilege of being one of the Bible League Pastors that had the opportunity to attend Dunamis. I thought I had lots of tools and strategy for evangelism, but when I came to Dunamis, I said to myself, this is different. In 3 verses, you have an effective, and easy to present the Gospel technique that takes no more than 5 to 6 minutes and you can hardly miss with it.

During the first day of practicum, with 18 presentations I won 22 souls using the 357 Magnum tool. It is what the church needs so we can penetrate the hearts of all kinds of people and win them to the Lord.

Renewed courage and inspiration!

In the beginning I had much fear yet somehow the emotion of excitement seemed to prevail in a kind of expectation of what I may experience in the Dunamis International School of Missions. However, as the seminar moved on I began feeling more comfortable with the very easy and simple presentation of the Stealth Evangelism.

As it went on I became more and more excited with the class exercises and workshops knowing that what will follow as announced, would be the “practicums” part of the seminar. It means we, the seminar participants will be exposed to actual street, mall, house to house, and school evangelism under the scrutinizing eyes of our class “monitors”.

There was the “fear of rejection” in me before the actual evangelistic exposure…but the many positive acceptances of the lost or unsaved people had given me a renewed courage and inspiration to continue applying the Dunamis Stealth Evangelism technique. I am excited to say, I’ll make soul winning my way of life!

I praise God for giving me this opportunity to experience this kind of training in evangelism. It’s a very effective tool to win souls. I thank God that I came here to Dunamis International School of Missions. I learned a lot. There are a lot of souls outside waiting for us to share with them the Gospel of Jesus. I also learned how to win souls in only a short time. No need to waste a lot of time. Very effective and applicable the John 3:3,5,7 is a bullet that can strike the bull’s eye in a lost man’s heart. And I pray to God this school will train many more pastors, and that they will implement this training with their leaders and members also.

I enjoyed the teaching of Pastor Tony he is a very effective teacher. Every word that came out of his mouth lifted up my confidence and overcame my fear of rejection.

Tears of Joy flood my soul!

As I write this note to you with tears in my eyes I want to thank all of you for your sacrificial giving to make sure that these pastors and hundreds more like them get the opportunity to take the Stealth Evangelism Class. Most of these pastors have been praying for a long time for this breakthrough in evangelism that can equip them to win the lost and then disciple them. They have been praying for years for revival to break out in their churches, begging the Lord for souls. I looked at Calli as we were viewing last week’s class pictures of all those pastors winning souls in the streets of Manila, and I said to her, “How could anyone have a better job than this?” I used to love my job in real estate and I did it with zeal till I laid it down to follow the Lord’s call over 14 years ago. It doesn’t get better than this!

Thank you for helping us bring an answer to prayer to so many of these pastors with this awesome training. Please continue in whatever way you can to sow, it doesn’t matter if its $5 or $500 per month. If you do something, it keeps us going. Please don’t hold back because you can’t give a large sum monthly, just do what you can. I want to ask everyone that reads this message to please look at these soul winning scenes of this last week’s group of pastors. The pictures say it all. I think it will make you tear up with blessing, it did me. I never get callous to seeing people saved. Show these to other people and tell them we need help. “Win the Philippines! Win the World!”

Let’s do it together!

Most of us need a paradigm shift in the way we think about winning and discipling souls. Most pastors believe in discipleship and often develop training programs in the church to disciple the membership. Still, one of the pit falls today in churches worldwide is the lack of effective evangelism programs, especially those that would activate the members of a church to do one on one evangelism in their community. It has been considered extremely difficult to activate most members to evangelize because of their innate fear of rejection and the difficulty in the implementation of many of the current evangelism tools that have been designed for their use. Most people have some fear of rejection because they don’t like making enemies of their friends, relatives, or even strangers that they may be trying to develop a relationship with.

Many witnessing tools have some distinct characteristics that make them unattractive to the average church member because they may be very confrontive or even brazenly religious. To the point that you hit the radar of the individual and the shield or wall goes up from the very beginning of your conversation. Basically robbing you of the opportunity to share with them what Jesus says in the Bible about being born again. If you keep going with it, they will probably even evade you the next time they see you.

Many Christians unknowingly use what comes across as a self righteous approach to their witnessing. They forget the fact that the person they are witnessing to does not understand spiritual things.

Listen to this very important verse! “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1Cor. 2:14 (NKJV) Consider the lost, remember you used to be lost yourself. Try and see things through their eyes.

Another very important reason we don’t like to witness or share our faith is our lack of preparation. We don’t know what to say! Who wants to start a conversation or witness to someone when you don’t have a clue what to say? This is probably the second largest reason people do not share their faith or witness one on one.

With all this in mind, let’s understand a few things about the Stealth Evangelism Program. First it is easy to learn, with not much memorization, and is extremely effective. In most instances you won’t damage your relationship with the person you’re witnessing to, whether they are an old friend, a family member, or even a new acquaintance, so you have nothing to lose, and an eternal life to gain. Wow, what a deal!

New Stealth Evangelism Training Manuals

The Stealth Evangelism training manual has the complete lecture on Stealth Evangelism including precepts and concepts of one on one evangelism. How to develop a relationship with someone you don’t know and turn the conversation into a soul winning situation without hitting the radar of the individual causing the shield or wall to go up between you before you have the opportunity to share the gospel, and how do the same with friends and relatives. It contains a comprehensive workshop that is designed to fully root the technique in you so you’ll be able to present the gospel with the precision of surgeon. Also, at the back there is a full witnessing dialog to show you the flow.

The Dunamis Training Standard and leadership instruction manual contains the full standard for training your members, that will insure quality results from your training seminar that you conduct. This manual has many gold nugget concepts and precepts on developing a Reaper’s Club and activating your church leadership and members in evangelism and discipleship, including cell group development and the imperative relationship between the Reaper’s club and the Cell program in the church. I praise and thank God for bringing me to Dunamis International School of Missions. I was really so hesitant when my Senior Pastor invited me to join her to go to the seminar. The idea, for me, was so obscure, believing that I already knew so much about evangelism. I believe that I had undergone so many trainings in winning souls and that was enough. Of course, that was a clear spirit of pride and conceit.

When the teaching started on day one, I was immediately amazed, realizing and understanding the real meaning of Stealth Evangelism. I realized I still lacked so much knowledge. I praise and thank God that I came to Dunamis. I think this is one of best decisions I ever made. The Lord really knows the cry of my heart. I love to share Jesus to the lost, but I didn’t know how to do it in such an effective way. I was not always successful, so I would get discouraged. What we pastors are looking for!

Imagine 17 souls for today during my practicum! I haven’t done that in my two years in the ministry. It usually takes months or even years to win 17 souls for Christ. I’ve been to several trainings for evangelism but I found them hard to use because of the complexity of the procedures. Stealth Evangelism has only 3 questions and 3 verses and you win people in 3-5 minutes. That means if there are 20,000 faithful pastors and workers in our country and they spend only an hour a day in evangelism, the whole Philippines could be won for Christ in one year! What a big leap for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Stealth Evangelism is what we pastors and church’s workers are looking for; God’s mighty tool for today’s end time harvest. It is so easy to learn and to apply. Even new believers can evangelize as long as we train them and stick to the process that we have learned during our training. Praise God for Dunamis!

The Founder’s Club was created to secure the permanent presence of Dunamis International School of Missions in Manila, Philippines. The Dunamis Mission Center has a mortgage of $250,000 against it. We, the leadership of Dunamis, have been seeking the Lord for an answer for the debt so that the funds that we receive monthly from our partners can be better utilized in the reaching of the lost both in the Philippines and worldwide.

We have accomplished much in the 8 years we have been here in the Islands, but we need to do more. This will insure their churches will have perpetual soul winning and discipleship flowing through them for years to come.

These are perilous times in the world today with economies shaking and the uncertainty of what the future holds. But we can make sure that no matter what happens in the financial world that this ministry in the Philippines will prevail and extend to reach the lost in every nation that we are able to touch.

“My life will never be the same!”

I was raised in a Christian family, and at 14 I was born again. I began pastoring at 19 till now and I am 29. Up to this time in my life I thought the best approaches to winning souls were doing crusades and concerts. I had not done much one on one evangelism up to this point of my life.

Praise God, the Lord opened an opportunity for me to be trained at Dunamis International School of Missions. The Lord opened my eyes to the Great Commission He commanded us to do in Matthew 28:19. Before, I thought that costly crusades and concerts are the only way to cast the net. I was wrong. With the power of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom from the Word of God that we were taught in the Stealth Evangelism course, I was able to win 164 souls to the Lord in Just 8 hours of practicum exercises, going out and doing one on one evangelism in the market place, neighborhoods and malls. On top of that I learned how to train others to do the same. We learned how to present the Gospel in less than 6 minutes to a stranger and win them to Jesus almost every time.

A month after I graduated from Dunamis I started a second generation Stealth Evangelism training in our church with 7 of our youth leaders taking the class. Wow, they were very shy at first, but after witnessing two or three times they loosened up and became powerful soul winners. It was absolutely amazing seeing the transformation in each of them. That group of 7 students won 568 people to the Lord in their 3 practicums, which is only 8 hours of witnessing.

My senior pastor was not that interested in what we were doing in the beginning, but after he saw the results from the training, he got excited and asked me to train the leaders and elders of the ministry, and in our main Word of Hope church they have 30 youth leaders, and they have asked me to train them all. Thank you Pastor Tony and all the wonderful staff at Dunamis for your sacrificial efforts to train pastors and leaders how to fish so they can build their churches into mighty harvest churches and win the Philippines to the Lord. This reminds me, I have a greater sense of purpose and my life will never be the same after taking the training at Dunamis.

Help Us Teach Them to Fish!

I’ve known for a long time that the work we were doing was vital for the leadership in churches. That our Stealth Evangelism Program was vehemently needed by the leadership to help them build their church membership in some way other than trying to attract other churches’ members, which was not building the kingdom of God, just building our own kingdoms.

In the Philippines the average church has approximately 51 members. Well, that usually means from 7 to 12 families. The average pastor here makes $100 or less per month, so most of them are below the poverty level. Many of the pastors’ families live in a room at the rear of their church. Some have concrete floors, some dirt. Most are very dimly lit rooms. Their stove consists of a fireplace outside where they cook using firewood from wherever they can find it. Their food is very simple, rice, with a little fish or chicken. Calli and I have gone to many of those churches to preach on Sundays and the pastor would have a meal prepared for us after the service. What breaks our hearts is that, they usually feed us, but wait until we are through before anyone else can eat. Most of the time we can’t even get the pastor to eat with us, he waits also. We try to eat just enough so we won’t offend anyone, but we know that they will be eating the leftovers. It is so hard to write about this. Even now it puts tears in my eyes, but I’ve got to let you know how important this work is.

It’s like a man on the sea shore that doesn’t know how to fish. He is struggling and starving, yet the sea is full of resources to feed him and his family and give them a good livelihood. All you have to do is teach him to fish. Then his life will change forever. He’ll never be the same and if he works he eats.

Whoa, let’s apply this principal to our pastors and churches! We are teaching pastors and leaders to be fishers of men and how to train their members to do the same. We are teaching them strategies for follow up discipleship.

The bi-product of winning their neighborhoods to the Lord is not only church growth, but also the growth of the financial base of their church. More members, more income! Now the pastor has the abundance in the church that God promises in His word. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” 2Cor. 9:8. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Phil. 4:19. When the Great Commission is being done as Jesus commanded, abundance will follow, Amen?

We just developed our Stealth Evangelism curriculum into a booklet and are ready to send it to the printer. It will cost $2,500 for the printing of it and the Dunamis Standard manual for the school. This is needed ASAP!

As we have already let you know, Calli and I need to come to the US. We have received $725 of the $3,200 we needed, but now the tickets will be a little more so probably still need close to $3,000 to bring us there and back.

We are having more and more calls from pastors on other Islands wanting us to bring the training to them. It would cost approximately $2,000 per trip when we have to travel to another Island. Most of that expense is travel, food, and lodging for a small core staff. We could do at least two of these per month if the funds are available.

“This is it! This is really it!”

Dunamis? (Do not miss.) Indeed it’s great that I did not miss it! I thank God He scheduled me to attend the training. I am really blessed. This is it! This is really it! God knows my needs and the needs of my church. I am pastoring a pioneering church and it is my desire that it will grow in attendance. The question of, “How will I make it grow?” was answered when I attended this evangelism seminar. I might be an ordinary person but I will depend on a God that makes extra ordinary things in my life and my church.

On the second day, the fun began especially during the workshop. Memorizing the curriculum is not a task for me but it is fun because as we did repetitions, it sticks to my mind and heart. Jokes and laughter covered my nervousness especially when we are evaluated by our monitors.

Wow, here comes the practicum! I was excited and nervous. “Not by might nor by power but by the spirit of the Lord” really applies here. There are rejections and hindrances but it is God that is working in us. Thousands of angels are singing victory songs as souls accepted the Lord.

After the training, there is great joy in my heart, an unspeakable joy that no amount of money can buy. My thanks to Pastor Tony and the staff of Dunamis. They imparted to me their knowledge and experience that I can carry on to my church. I will never miss to promote Dunamis!!!

“The Strategy is Bull’s Eye”

I am pastor Victor of New Creation Christian Fellowship based in Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet, Mt. Province. I was informed by a sister about the Stealth Evangelism seminar of Dunamis International School of Missions. She asked me if I’m interested to take the class. Considering the distance of my place to Manila where the center is located, I was thinking that finances will be a great hindrance for me to attend. When I heard it is about evangelism, in my heart I really have a desire to attend and take the course because that is what I need in my church; revival, new believers, new Bible studies and cell groups and new disciples to help in the expansion of the ministry in our remote place.

As I looked to God in prayer, He gave me some instructions to do and as I followed His leading, I found myself praying for an affluent family whose son is very sick in the hospital. I have visited the hospital three times and after that I was told that he recovered from his illness. They came to church on Sunday and had blessed me with what I need to come to Manila to attend the class on Stealth Evangelism.

The training was very exciting and challenging especially during practicum. That is the time that you really exercise your skill in establishing a relationship with the unbeliever. The method was very simple yet effective; the strategy is Bull’s Eye, so to say. You can never miss! People you come in contact with get born again because of this powerful stealth technique of presenting the Gospel to them. I thank God that I was able to learn so much in such a short time. I have decided that I will maximize the use of the Stealth Program in my church when I go home. There was no time wasted in my stay in Dunamis but just blessings upon blessings. I’ve been hearing about Dunamis since 2008. I need to admit that I was a little bit curious about it, but I didn’t make any effort to attend. Then last year, I went to a training in Baguio and one of the delegates there who came from Davao told us that she’s going to attend “Dunamis” after she came down from Baguio. She wants to know the so called, “Stealth Evangelism Program”. Honestly, I got curious when I heard her saying “Stealth Evangelism”. What kind of evangelism is it?

I thought I will never hear about it again, but just recently, last April 16, 2011-I went to a youth conference with another pastor, and I heard the word “Dunamis” again. Our driver, which happened to be a former student of the school was promoting Dunamis to us, he’s really encouraging us to attend it. Still, I don’t have any plans to attend it. And , for the last time, I heard it again just last week courtesy of my co-pastor, at first I don’t really want to attend and then just this Sunday- I found myself saying “yes, I want to give it a try”. I believe it is God’s time for me to be here after hearing about Dunamis for almost 3 years.

What an amazing thing to be here! You’re able to meet new friends, have fellowship, have a wonderful time with the pastors and the things you can do at the training center. But the greatest thing that you can get after coming here is that your passion for souls, to win souls for the Lord will never be the same. You will be zealous, excited & will have a great time leading people to the Lord.

Personally, I am a person who just loves bringing people to the Lord-actually the method that I normally used was Romans 6:23, I just love doing it. Whenever I have Bible studies I make sure that the new attendees will have a chance to hear about the Good News of Jesus. There’s only one problem, despite of the passion for the lost, I don’t have that boldness to just approach someone I didn’t know. In other words, I don’t have the courage to share the gospel to strangers. I tried to it before, but I was really having a hard time.

Then here comes Dunamis, “Stealth Evangelism Training Method”. I am amazed by the way they do it. You can share Jesus to someone in about 5 to 7 minutes. Also the Soul Mate Bible fits well in your pocket so that you can hide it. It somehow has revolutionized the way I think and move with connection to evangelism

I am really thankful to the Lord for bringing me here. It also restored my passion for the lost. At first the practicum was really nerve –breaking, just like what I said what I said it is not my style to approach a stranger. But after our first practicum, I am like a hunter, hunting for a deer. I am a hunter, hunting for a soul. The fear and shyness little by little began to disappear. It helps me a lot.

Now, I can move and tell anyone about Jesus much easier. Also Dunamis put a challenge in my heart to move, act, and do what God commanded us to do. I am also very eager to share the things I learned here to other churches and leaders, to become a blessing.

Dunamis is a great help, it produces and awakened once more my heart for the lost. Now I understand why the Lord kept pointing me to Dunamis, He wanted to fix something in my heart, no fear and shyness. I believe that as I leave this place, I will have a new lifestyle, that is, soul winning.

Once more I praise and thank the Lord for bringing me here, Amen?

“I would have regretted it my whole life!”

I was not ready to attend the training because of such short notice. But one of our pastors wanted me to join him so we could attend the course together. After the training, I was really thankful to God that I heeded the invitation to attend or I would have regretted it my whole life.

The training was fun, informative, very effective and simple. It changed my mind-set toward evangelism. No need to memorize so many verses to support your witnessing. Stealth Evangelism is what we need so that we can penetrate the hearts of all kinds of people. It is a very simple approach. You can use it with everybody as long as you know how to establish a common ground with the people around you. It does not consume much time because you can share in 5 to 7 minutes and help the lost find their way to the truth. I could say that the most important decision of my life next to salvation is to join in this soul winning program thru Dunamis.

I never did personal witnessing before or leading someone to accept Jesus Christ though I share the goodness of the Lord, faithfulness and mercies. I will never forget my experience in Stealth Evangelism where I saw a couple and some elderly drop tears from their eyes. The Founder’s Club was created to secure the permanent presence of Dunamis International School of Missions in Manila, Philippines. The Dunamis Mission Center has a mortgage of $250,000 against it. We, the leadership of Dunamis, have been seeking the Lord for an answer for the debt so that the funds that we receive monthly from our partners can be better utilized in the reaching of the lost both in the Philippines and worldwide.

Ptr. Bernie Malitao & Ptr. Tony were asked to blow their shofars at the prestigious 35th Annual National Prayer Breakfast at the Manila Hotel. Present and in the photo on the left was the Vice President of the Philippines just to the left and behind them. I got to tell you this, neither of us felt we were very good, and we hadn’t practiced together, I hadn’t blown a shofar in several years then we got up there and Bernie knew exactly how many times we were supposed to blow for each segment. In each of those segments we blew our horns together in almost perfect sequence with the tones of horns blending as though we were professionals, “God was in it!” Good thing, Amen? The audience rallied to the blast of the horns for the opening of the ceremony it was neat. Glad God showed up for us, we might have been in trouble!

Over 6 Billion People Lost!

Yet there is hope!

Jesus says “… Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields,
for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:35

I had asked Pastor Dennis Balcombe of Revival Chinese Ministries Inc. in Hong Kong recently what his estimate would be on the number of born again Christians in the world today. His answer was very complex and was close to my own estimate, he estimated 800 million born again Christians. There are approximately 7 Billion people on the planet today, so lift up your eyes folks we have a job to do. I still have a copy of Pastor Dennis’s estimate breakdown for any one that may be skeptical. Believe you me, I’d love to provide it to you if you ask. We must awaken from our slumber friends..

To get a good perspective of what this means, try driving by a busy mall with all the cars there and picture that most of those cars represent lost families even in the Bible belt of America. We have a huge problem. Go to a home town football game and take a look around my friends, believe it or not the vast majority of those you see are not born again and will not go to heaven if they died tonight.

The question we should ask is what can we do about it? Most Christians don’t even think on that wave link. They are busy living their lives and are not concerned with the spiritual condition of others. Many that are concerned don’t know what to do to change this. It is a vicious circle in life that most of us are just circumventing because we don’t have a clue how to help.

I can illustrate in my own life that when I was born again in 1975, within days after my salvation I started witnessing the best I could, and at my church I was considered a charismatic witness. Thing is when I would witness I would have to allot myself at least 1 ½ to 2 hours to share everything I knew to win someone. That was not transferable to others as a tool. After a couple of years I had cooled down where I didn’t witness unless the person practically hit me in the face saying “I want to be saved”. It’s not an exaggeration in the body of Christ that people will not share the gospel unless they are practically asked by someone please lead me to the Lord, or something like that.

Let’s have a clear understanding of what is going on there. Christians don’t witness a lot because of fear of rejection, they don’t want to alienate the person from them, and most of that comes from not knowing what to say to begin with. The average Christian worldwide doesn’t witness because they are not equipped to close the deal. I went for years thinking that you had to have this outgoing personality to win people to Jesus, so I thought that reapers or soul winners were people gifted with the gift of Gab. You probably think the same. In the 8 years that we have been here in the Philippines God has revealed something very wonderful to us in our school. The fact is, the only difference between a sower and a reaper is the sickle. The sickle is the device used to harvest the crop. If you take a sower out in the field and hand him a sharp sickle that is light and easy to use, he will immediately begin to harvest with ease. All you have to do from there is direct him where you want him to harvest. Our Stealth Evangelism tool takes 5 to 6 minutes to win a total stranger to the Lord. Less time than that for someone you know. With this in mind we believe that if we can train the leadership in churches with a easy to use and effect soul winning tool, they can in turn train the body of Christ with this tool and activate their members to evangelize the lost. This will make a huge impact worldwide. Pastors are praying daily for revival to hit their churches, and God is bringing the answers to their prayers.

Friends it takes money to make this training available to pastors all over. We need to be taking it to pastors up North and down South and to other islands and other nations. We need help. You can do something to help no matter how much you send monthly it all helps make it happen. All things considered it takes about $100 to train a pastor for the 3 days and feed him, house him, all his materials, and the cost of staff and our facility. You maybe can only do a portion of that each month but it will help if you do something. We are praying that God will increase our monthly income so we can start doing mobile seminars every month. It will mean thousands of souls coming to the Lord every month if we can do this. Pray with us that many will hear our plea and respond, pray for favor with new partners from all walks of life to help make this happen. I need to hire another staff member yesterday, but we are waiting on the funds to do so. They will be full time and we need to have the support committed to this before we hire him.

Ya’ll, we can make a difference together, start taking this nation island by island. I do have a strategic plan, but we have to have the personnel and funds to do it. Let’s win this nation to the Lord by taking the Stealth Evangelism Program all over the Islands, Amen? “More than I expected!”

When I came to Dunamis International School of Missions for the training, I thought that this is just like one of the trainings or seminars that I have attended before. Much to my excitement, there was more than what I expected! The outpouring of the Holy Spirit was evident and I felt His touch upon me. I learned to witness one on one to strangers, to people in all walks of life.

The commitment of the trainees and the full pack action in the field when we are doing our practicum, sharing the “Are You Born Again” method to win souls for the Lord produced a tremendous positive result.

Evangelizing to the unbelievers using this method was the simplest and most effective way compared to other evangelism tools that I’ve learned.

Now, I must apply this to my church because I know that this is a useful tool in bringing more souls to Christ. My heartfelt thanks to Dunamis, to Ptr. Tony Poole and the staff, to my co-trainees who helped me during practicum and class session. May God bless you more abundantly.

“No Ordinary School!”

Dunamis International School of Missions is no ordinary school. It has a unique method of teaching. We learn the curriculum, we do the workshop and then we go out for practicum. This is way beyond the other evangelism seminars that I have attended. The technique was easy and effective.

The facilities of the center are great. The teaching is understandable and it teaches me a lot of things like how we establish relationship with people we never saw before. It helped me make soul winning a way of life. It teaches me to love people, and a passion for the lost was ignited in my heart during my short stay in this school.

In this class, we are pastors from different churches and a bond was created in us, we had a great fellowship with one another. It brings joy to my heart to know that aside from winning souls to the Lord, I meet new friends, I had some time for myself and I talk to people that never heard the gospel before. I was amazed that the sharing of the word is very practical and it is received by people from different walks of life. I learned a lot in coming to Dunamis. To God be the glory.

“Really Effective”

Learning the curriculum is not easy, but I passed it with flying colors. Ptr. Tony made us comfortable with his teaching. I thought the practicum is hard at first but as we go on I found it to be enjoyable. It is easy and effective and is not annoying to the unbeliever because we establish first a relationship and we become friends with them so when we ask them the question “Are You Born Again?” they do not say much but just answer “yes” or “no”. Then we can freely share the gospel and lead them to the Lord. The technique was really effective and can be easily adapted because there are only three verses to quote which everybody can understand. I learned how to train our members and what to do with them after training them.

“It’s Awesome!”

I am Venjie Garcia gladly testifying my moments in Dunamis Internaional School of Missions. I thank God for His awesome power that worked truly in my whole being. I had a great time understanding how it is to evangelize undetected through “Stealth Evangelism”. I thought at first that it is impossible because even before, whenever I share or witness to someone, I am always detected that I am a born again Christian. It’s because I did not know yet the technique; but after taking the training, I was more effective in sharing the gospel without triggering the “radar” of the lost person. I made some new friends because I have established relationship with them as the first step of the witnessing tool. It’s awesome, I can’t believe that I am doing it myself, and I won many souls for Christ.

In the center, I learned to share rooms with the elder pastors and hear their stories, eat at the same table with them which never happened if I did not come to take the training. I was nervous during practicum but I overcome it because my co-trainees are very supportive, they always push me to my limits. In going to practicum and going back to the center, our fellowship was great, laughter and sharing how we made the presentations and how we were victorious is really enjoyable for me. I can say that I am a better person now because of those experiences at Dunamis. God did a lot of new things in me, to God be the glory.

Evangelism was really taboo for me. I was too shy to talk to people about the Lord. I was afraid of rejection and what will happen if people ask me questions about salvation because I have not mastered it yet. But then, when I had a chance to come to Dunamis International School through the invitation of my Senior Pastor, to learn a new technique of evangelism, I felt a change in my perspective. It was so easy, fast and effective that my shyness was changed to self confidence, I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit and I trusted the power of God more. So when we were doing our practicum, I had the desire to win more souls and because of that eagerness in my heart, I won so many souls that I guess would have taken me 20 years, but because of “Stealth Evangelism” I won them in 3 hours only. It was amazing!!! I really thank the Lord for changing my life forever.

My short stay at Dunamis International School of Mission is enjoyable and indeed very fruitful. It allowed me to evaluate my perspective on evangelism. I was reminded that I should always have a continuing passion for the lost people. At first, I am very reluctant to share to some any random people because by nature, I am really a shy person. I’m only good in talking to my friends as well as to my students. But I was released by God, through this “Stealth Evangelism” method of witnessing. I realized that the reason why people don’t get saved is I am too reluctant and shy to witness to them. I should be ashamed to my Almighty God if I will stay that way, so when I was taking the course, I prayed that God will give me the boldness to share and the same passion He has for the lost people. “It’s so easy yet effective”

I thank God that I got the chance to come to Dunamis International School of Mission and take the “Stealth Evangelism” seminar because I learned a lot of things here. I learned that evangelism should not only be done in a crusade or gathering a lot of people so we can evangelize. It is possible to witness for 5 to 7 minutes just like the “Are You Born Again?” method of evangelism. It is so easy and yet effective in winning souls for the Lord. The practicum helps a lot because even if we don’t live here, it enables us to repeat again and again the steps and practice what we are going to say making it easy for us to memorize the questions and the method itself. So I thank God because most of the people I have talked to accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Here in the center, I met new friends, elder pastors that shared their experiences in the ministry and gave me word of wisdom; I will not forget them in my walk with the Lord. “Dunamis International School of Missions made the difference!”

Even before, I am not into sharing the gospel or evangelizing because I am really scared and nervous of what people think or say to me. That is what they call fear of rejection. I’m afraid that people will reject me even before I can even share the word; it’s so embarrassing on my part. But, enrolling to the “Stealth Evangelism” seminar of Dunamis International School of Mission made the difference. The method made me productive in sharing the salvation that God is offering to all who wanted to be born again. I am not ashamed anymore and the fire burning inside me to witness is always there. The training, the repetitions and the practicum helped me a lot and I’m so happy that I participated in this training. Through this method, many souls will be brought to the kingdom of God. “One on one evangelism is easy”

I do not know about one on one evangelism before because in our church we were taught by our pastor to always do group evangelism. I always assist our senior pastor to crusades and even in visiting families who are not yet saved so we need to evangelize them, but they are always in group and when my senior pastor told me that we are invited to a seminar at Dunamis International School of Missions, I told him that I will attend. I was thankful that I did not make the wrong decision because, learning the “Stealth Evangelism” method was a new experience for me. The workshop is very helpful because the staff pushed me to repeat the steps and somehow it helped me memorize what I was talking about. In the practicum, I proved that one on one evangelism is easy and after you have shared them the gospel, they become your friends. They are strangers from all walks of life, and they are just there in the streets, markets, hospitals..etc. I thank God for Dunamis International School of Missions, to Ptr. I am just a church worker, I did not have a bible school merits, I am shy and nervous talking to people, but when I learned the lesson, something in my mind blossomed. It is not hard to evangelize if you have the right tool. You can approach all kind of person as long as you know what you are talking about and you don’t offend them by what you are asking them. The “Are You Born Again?” method is a simple way of leading people to the Lord.

The Founder’s Club was created to secure the permanent presence of Dunamis International School of Missions in Manila, Philippines. The Dunamis Mission Center has a mortgage of $250,000 against it. We, the leadership of Dunamis, have been seeking the Lord for an answer for the debt so that the funds that we receive monthly from our partners can be better utilized in the reaching of the lost both in the Philippines and worldwide.

We have accomplished much in the 8 years we have been here in the Islands, but we need to do more. We are constantly asked to bring Stealth Evangelism to other parts of the Islands and other nations all over the world, holding seminars for pastors and leaders that cannot afford to travel to Manila. Our heart breaks as we are forced to tell them that we can’t come right now, but maybe some time in the future. 8th Anniversary of Dunamis!

A lot of you know that March is a very special month for the DUNAMIS family. It was eight years ago on March 5, 2003 that Calli and I, plus our daughter Felicity boarded a plane in Amarillo, Texas and took off following God’s calling. Please rejoice with us as we celebrate the 8th anniversary of Dunamis here in the Philippines. It’s hard to believe how fast the time has flown by. We are always amazed to look back on where we came from, where we are now, and how much has been accomplished for God’s kingdom in between!

It’s the amazing evolution of God’s work here in the Philippines that continues to boggle our minds as the Lord takes us from Glory to Glory in the development of our life changing Program. When we first began here in 2003 God gave me a simple yet powerful evangelism tool that laid the foundation for the development of the curriculum and strategies that have transformed into the dynamic spiritual weapon we have today. When we first began, it was just like the Wright Brother’s first , but just as aviation has evolved into the Stealth Bomber, our witnessing tool evolved into the Stealth Evangelism Program. This course has answered the prayers of many pastors worldwide that have been interceding for revival in their churches and cities for years.

I thought the best thing to start out with on this anniversary newsletter was a testimony from one of our latest students. There is nothing more qualifying than our students own words describing their experiences during and after attending our stealth evangelism course. Sometimes what they say can be many times more impactive than anything I can put into words. One such testimony is this one by Ptr. Arturo M. Recio, which had me tearing up as I first read along.

“My Search has finally ended”

Since I become a Christian in 1980, my heart has been searching for a simple yet effective way to reach people with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This longing has caused me to read evangelistic books of T.L. Osborne, God’s Army of Morris Cerullo, Shouts to the Housetops of Pat Robertson, books of Billy Graham, Shepherd’s Staff of Rolph Mahoney 4th Dimension and Cell System of Paul Yongi Cho, Lighthouse of Ed Silvoso, books of John Maxwell, Come, Let’s Change the World and 4 Spiritual Laws of Bill Bright and lately G-12 books of Cesar Castillanos. Excellent books as they are, yet I find them either too complicated or too time consuming to apply in a pioneering work, thus, I hesitated to start a church and just remained a businessman for many years.

After hearing the “Are You Born Again” program, I found myself on the other extreme – “it’s too simple to an inquisitive mind.” I also doubted its effectiveness. If the system is effective, why are they not getting the big crowd of the G-12 system?

Nonetheless, I tried to use it in the morning of February 24, 2011 with 6 female students of CAA National High School, Las Pinas. To my amazement, those students prayed to be born again, with an added bonus. The new converts happened to have a born again classmate who promised me to bring the new converts to her church. Minutes later, I approached 7 male students of the same school. Again, to my astonishment, I have the same response- they prayed to be “born again” I had 7 presentations and 22 souls won to the Lord that morning!
In the afternoon, the group went to a house-to-house witnessing in different target areas. Oh! Lord, thank you! Again, people are praying to be “born again”. Though some are rejecting for various reasons, yet I found them very minimal compared to those praying positively. That afternoon, I got 9 presentations and won 18 souls. The Lord of the harvest gave me 40 souls won in approximately 6 hours of labor of love that day. I have seen it with my own eyes; truly the field is ready for harvest!

I am now in a 2-year old pioneering work in Mandaluyong which is my Jerusalem. The church has 50 members, 30 of which came from the mother church. To reach the community, I have been conducting a basketball tournament with 120 players and spending Php 8,000 ($185US) per month to pay for referees, transportation, and food. The tournament has been going on for more than a month, yet I have not won even one player to the Lord. Imagine Php 8,000 per month and not one soul has been won yet! Had I known of the Stealth Evangelism Program before, I could have started a church many, many years back and could have reached thousands of perishing souls by now, for the glory of our Lord Jesus who said “You must be born again”.

With a smile on my face and unexplainable peace in my heart, I know my Lord and my Master is smiling back at me when I say “Lord, thank you, my search has finally ended”. —Ptr. Recio

Dreams to Destiny

When I was growing up and even after I became an adult, it was my dream, to one day have a place up in the mountains where I could wake up in the morning and go trout fishing. All my life I was an avid fisherman. When Calli and I lived in Amarillo we lived about 12 years out at Lake Tanglewood. I knew that when I retired I was going to move to the mountains and fulfill that dream.

When I was 50 years old God came in and blew me up, basically consumed me to the point I was no earthly good anymore. I had been a successful real estate broker for 26 years, yet when the Lord fell upon me, I could no longer stomach the business that I had loved for over a quarter of a century. In 1997 I sold my real estate business and we started getting ready for what the Lord was about to do in our lives. We had to lay down everything and every relationship in our life and step forward into our destiny with the Lord. Well, God made me a fisherman of men instead of fish. I get the same high that I always got from catching lots of fish yet it is so much more rewarding! I was thinking the other day about the dreams I used to have about the cabin in the mountains and it dawned on me that there’s no way I could go and live where I couldn’t maximize my fishing for men’s souls. If I were up in the mountains there wouldn’t be many of the kind of fish I like to fish for now! I know that 100’s of thousands maybe even millions are coming to the Lord yearly through all our alumni here at Dunamis. I couldn’t give that up for anything in the world.

“When you turn your eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face, the things of earth shall grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.” That famous old hymn says it in a nut shell. When you’re focused on Him nothing else matters. If you allow Him, God will bring you to a point in your life where you step into His will and purposes for you and they become paramount to yours. It says in His word that God will give you the desires of your heart, trick is, sometimes He changes your desires to His.

Our partners, God bless them exceedingly abundantly above and beyond their ability to ask or think, participate in the same benefits that we do when they sow. We couldn’t be here or be training these awesome pastors and leaders if it weren’t for the sacrificial giving of our precious partners. I can’t even imagine how precious they are to our Lord Jesus who gives them the seed to sow and is blessed when they do. We have sown our lives for life into this work and you can be a part of this till we all meet in heaven. Friends and partners in God’s work, thank you from all of our hearts for helping us reach nations with the Gospel of our precious Lord Jesus Christ.

Coming to the US in May

Calli and I feel led to return to the US for a short time to work on raising the money to pay Dunamis International Mission Center off completely. It will take approximately $248,000 to pay the note off. We believe it is critical in today’s time to not have debt. This will insure that Dunamis will have a permanent presence in the Philippines as well as a base of operations for all of Asia.

It will also enable us to be much more effective and secure in a time when the world is in such financial turmoil. The money that goes to pay the payments on the center each month can then be channeled into to mobile missions all over the Islands where we need to be holding seminars, training pastors and leaders from one end to the other of these Islands in the Stealth Evangelism Program. It’s our hope to reach this nation within the next ten years. Let’s “Win the Philippines! Win the World!” together.

Even when we are in the midst of the fire financially right now there is peace knowing that God is in control. Wow! This month in one seminar they won 438 souls to the Lord and in another they won 1,166 souls to the Lord. I have spoken to numerous students this month and asked them if they are winning souls after their training and they say I have a goal of 1 soul per day and some 2 or 3 souls a day, this just blesses my soul knowing that people are coming to the Lord every day through our alumni which is more than 5,000 including the 2nd generational training. So even when times look tough in the natural realm, we can hold on to God’s promises knowing that He’s in control. This is Jill Hill introducing their newest son, Yezekiel, to the rest of the tribe. That makes 7 sons to come to the Philippines. Steve and Jill Hill will be moving in the next few months to come and help us with the school. Steve has been a youth pastor in several churches for the last 17 years in the Amarillo area. He and Jill have a call of God on their lives to move to the Philippines and serve in the ministry of Dunamis International School of Missions. They are both well tooled by the Lord and will be an awesome asset to our staff and board. We just want to take a moment here to thank the Lord for sending us these Godly workers that will bring with them a wealth of knowledge and commitment to God’s work.

To God Be The Glory!

Ptr. Charlie Rosal – I am the assoc. pastor of Awesome God Christian Church in Caloocan City. Dunamis made a great impact in my evangelism knowledge and gave me passion for lost souls. I was really amazed with what happened to me because my desire to witness to people kept burning from the first day till the seminar ended. I can’t believe myself telling people about being born again and seeing them saved!

Before I came to the seminar, I was just a shy ordinary person and witnessing one on one was taboo for me. Not until I learned about Stealth Evangelism did the Holy Spirit start to ignite my capacity to share the word of God thru evangelism. For 5 to 7 minutes it has a result and I saw people getting saved. I can’t help but compare this technique with other evangelism seminars I have attended which are very traditional and expensive. Something different!

Pastor Roberto Cacatian Jr. – When I was invited by my senior pastor to attend the training on “Stealth Evangelism” my first impression was a little bit irritated. At the back of my mind I was thinking, I have already been to a lot of evangelism seminars and I was used to the methods I have already learned. But when I attended the Stealth Evangelism course at Dunamis I found something different in this method! In such a short period of time evangelizing, people’s natural radar is never touched and they get saved!

I praise God for this seminar! I have proven it, when we were in our practicum that if we just follow what we learned, there is almost no rejection and we get positive results. This is very helpful to all pastors and leaders. I was blessed by the staff of Dunamis, by their hospitality and how they attended to our needs during the seminar. May God bless them with more enthusiasm, patience and strength so that they can spread this ministry of evangelism in the Philippines and throughout the world!

Ignited the passion!

Pastor Aristeo Mata Jr. – I was blessed by the strategy of Stealth Evangelism. From the start of the seminar down to the last event, the teaching and method was very simple and in order so that one can easily execute the program without much burden. It just ignited the passion for winning lost souls! Taking the seminar has given me a new view of evangelism that I thought could never be done in such a little span of time. It is my plan to duplicate this program in our church and hope to see my church grow in attendance and win more souls to Christ.

Pastora Luzminda Claridad – I am a missionary to the Dumagat tribe, an ethnic tribe here in the Philippines in Taytay, Rizal province. I can say that this experience in evangelism is quite different from the other evangelism seminars that I have attended.

At first, during the practicums, I felt the fear of talking to people and asking them, “Are You Born Again?” Which I have not done in my whole life! My encounter with a lady who is practicing witchcraft was really an amazing one because as I was sharing the gospel with her and asking her if she wanted to be born again, I felt the power of the devil because of her resistance, but I know God is in control, so I just go on…the lady just broke down and prayed with me!

I thank the staff of Dunamis for training us and pushing us to practice what we learned in our three day stay in the center. We realized that many souls out there are lost and if we don’t tell them how to be born again, for sure they will go to hell. God bless you Dunamis!

A real blessing from God!

Pastora Lourdes Venegas – I was invited by a friend who had already attended the Stealth Evangelism seminar and had experienced a new way of soul winning. There were about ten of us pastors that were to meet at the Baclaran LRT station so we could travel together to attend the seminar at Dunamis. But when I arrived, there was no one there. They all began texting me that they were unable to come. I panicked because I had never been to Dunamis and didn’t know where to go. Then my cell phone died and I was unable to ask for directions… (But she pressed through and made her way to us!) When I arrived at Dunamis Mission Center, I was amazed to find the place nice and quiet, conducive to learning, personal devotion and quiet time. As the class progressed I was so excited to hear this new technique of soul winning. The extensive workshop and practicums made us ready to win souls. Staying at the Center was a rare opportunity and a real blessing from God. I thank God for using Pastor Tony to bring revival to churches that will cause them to be renewed and bring thousands of souls to the Lord. More power to Ptr. Tony and the staff of Dunamis. May this ministry continue until all be saved and baptized in the name of Jesus!

I can’t believe myself!

Pastor Russel Cuasay – I am a youth pastor of Jesus Glory to God Church in Tondo, Manila. My heart is happy as I have finished the course in Stealth Evangelism! First I want to thank the staff of Dunamis who taught us this easy, fast and effectiveway of evangelizing the lost. In our three days of practicum… I saw men, women, and children, young and old being saved!

If we diligently follow the steps in the curriculum of the Stealth Evangelism and are always ready with our “357 magnum”(Name the students gave the technique because of the use of the scriptures John 3:3,5,7 the people that you can encounter cannot do anything else but to surrender and pray with you for the salvation of their soul!

I also thank God for bringing me to this seminar because I felt a change in my mind sets. The seminar made me feel the desire, the passion and the love for the souls that are lost in sin. I can’t believe myself sharing the Gospel to devout Catholics and winning them to the Lord. I met young people who didn’t believe in God surrender their lives and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord.

More intensity for evangelism!
